Unique showroom in Delhi

The ISIA showroom, first of its kind, was inaugurated in New Delhi on 30 November. Swedish energy solutions are on display here for customers and stakeholders in India, set in the context of the city as an energy system. This is the result of five years of the initiative India Sweden Innovations’ Accelerator. The opening ceremony attracted over 130 visitors, which included both media and high-level representatives from industry and public sector.

The exhibition room presents more than 20 Swedish innovative energy solutions introduced through the Swedish Energy Agency’s India Sweden Innovations’ Accelerator Program (ISIA).

“India and Sweden share the common view that innovation is needed to meet the growing need for sustainable and green energy. Our goal with this exhibition space is to further strengthen the ongoing dialogue on sustainability and joint innovation, research, development and implementation in India,” says Ludvig Lindström, international business developer at the Swedish Energy Agency.

Swedish energy solutions installed in India

A very important key to doing business in India is being able to show reference installations – ‘Seeing is believing’. If Swedish companies have reference installations they can talk about and put them in a context, then there is immediately an interest. If the companies can also convey that their solutions are flexible and can be adapted to the Indian market, they are another step closer to the market.

The exhibition room has interactive stations that show energy solutions integrated into society and put in a context. Visitors can learn more about the solution and the company by watching movies, different forms of presentations and 3D holograms – so called augmented reality.
